Apstrakt

U prvom delu članka, objavljenom u broju 4/2010. ovoga časopisa, bilo je reči o razvoju grejanja i hlađenja zračenjem u Aziji. Od III veka pre nove ere, u Evropi se razvijao sistem podnog grejanja pod nazivom hipokaust (hypocaustum) [1]. Sistem su činili peć (hypocausis) i niz prolaza kojima topli vazduh ide ispod poda na stubovima koji nose ploču i taj vazduh se zatim ispušta kroz šupljine u zidovima.
