Ekonomska analiza se u oblasti inženjerske prakse odnosi na primenu naučnih i tehničkih principa za problematiku određivanja cena koštanja, procene i kontrole troškova, poslovnog i vremenskog planiranja i upravlјanja, analizu rentabilnosti (profitabilnosti).
