Apstrakt

When preparing for the membership in the structures of the European Union, Poland had to implement numerous laws and regulations of the EU. One of the most important legal acts in the branch of free exchange of products, in the so-called regulated area, is the Pressure Directive No. 97/23/EC. The variety of the requirements included in the Directive and harmonised standards regarding the design work, manufacture, control, tests and examinations and marking of the equipment, until now have been mastered by very few specialists [1]. The aforementioned principle has been comprehended at RAFAKO S.A. since the moment when the market of the power equipment manufacturers ceased to be "administratively – controlled.
